Tickets for the ski race and some tickets for the mountainbike race were put up for sale today. This caused the servers to break down. The popularity of these events is insane. Last year, they put up 6000 tickets on general sale for the bicycle race, these were sold out within 66 seconds.

On a different note, I finally got my bike that I am going to use over the winter. Not the best bike, but should be sufficient to get me started. The bike got assembled and everything was in place for me to get on with my training! I arranged to meet Frank at a gas station to do some fine tuning on the bike. It felt GOOD to get on the bike.... Everything went great, until I came down to Olympia Stadium.... My freaking crank fell off, and to make it worse this happened just in front of a beautiful girl waiting at the bus stop. Trying to keep my appearance, I rolled out of sight and had to try to fix the crank without any tools....

Crank/pedal fell off, and I have no idea on how to fix it

Frank came and of course almost died of laughter. We decided to roll the bike back to my place to try and fix it.  After a little bit of trying and failing, I thought I had fixed it, but realized after a few metres that the whole crank were about to fall off again. It is still not quite OK, since I need to get some tools to get it fixed.
